Does you boxer snore &/or dream?
« on: March 08, 2010, 06:05:56 PM »
LOl, neither Ruby or Jakey do, but Honey snored like a train.............  Ruby has some very deep dreams and paddles her legs like she is swimming whilst she is asleep [must get a video done one of these days], she also makes some funny little high pitched noises and blows air out of her mouth, sometimes she growls too - I would love to know what her dreams are all about :o

Do bears #&X@ in the woods???  Oh, I know General is chasing a squirrel or rabbit in his dreams.  Boy those legs can move.  LOL  It's so funny and then when he's "so called" barking.   :-\  It's just down right hilarious and so many times Larry and I can't help but laugh.  After we do that, we usually wake him.  I swear, a pin can drop and he's awake and on guard.  Not that he needs to be, but he thinks so.

I think Sabrina is either chasing dogs and playing in her sleep or she is being a guard dog.  I do wonder what dogs dream!
She doesn't run in her sleep but she whines and snores

:o One night my husband and I were watching TV..Akira was (as usual) stretched out on the sofa..suddenly we heard this ...umm ..hmmmm..sound ?? We looked at one another and said "what the heck was that?" It stopped..then suddenly her legs were going and she was chasing something..not sure what but have a feeling it was that darn squirrel that likes to hang out in our 50 ft avacado tree in the back yard..I called her name and she opened one eye as if to say " DO YOU MIND ?? I ALMOST HAD IT TILL YOU WOKE ME UP".....

Doggie dreams - sometimes they get so violent you feel like you must wake them up - "Hey! Hey! Hey!, wake up!"

Who knows what they are dreamin' about...    ::)

My boxer, Loki, is 4. And he has done this since he was a pup. He gets going so bad sometimes that it actually shakes the bed and wakes me up. Then I turn around and wake him up. He does the paws moving, the barking under his breath, and his little yelps. But I always wonder if they are all good dreams, Bc he has wetted the bed, and his bed, probably 3 or 4 times in his life span.

Both ours snore and Theo dreams a lot. I once saw his mouth going as if he was suckling, it made me wonder if he was dreaming about his puppyhood.

Funny ... we have a 4 month old that snores, but it depends on his position.  If he is on his back or side ... he snores.  If he is "curled" up, he sleeps quietly.  He also dreams ... typically of running.  Here is Codey ...

Rufus does snore (worse than my husband lol) and he always dreams. Either his legs are going or he's kind of yipping in his sleep, he does on occasion growl. It's usually so funny I can't help but laugh at him.

lol to all the above reply's, I'm soooo glad to know it's not just my boxer that does it. Coopy always snores really loudly amd even when you try and wake him it takes a while and then he goes straight back to snorning lol, he's also a runner with his legs going crazy and he makes little yelping nosises as well, I just think it's sooo funny. ;D
